Skegness and Seal Sanctuary

Another fantastic day on our Residential trip on Wednesday. After our morning jobs and full English breakfast, we took a trip to Skegness, where we visited a seal sanctuary and learnt all about how they rescue injured, abandoned and poorly seals that wash up on the beach! Following this, we had fish and chips in a local restaurant, which were served in a bucket with a spade!? Our last stop in Skegness was the beach, where we had time to build sandcastles (using the bucket and spade from the restaurant), splash in the water and play some games. When we returned to Rand Farm, we completed our evening jobs and celebrated Eden's birthday before taking part in some orienteering. The children are having an amazing time- but also cannot wait to see their families again!
