A school governor makes a valuable contribution to children’s education and opportunities. Being a school governor is a hugely rewarding role giving you the chance to make a real difference.
No special qualifications are needed for these role as the most important thing is to have a keen interest in the school and be prepared to play an active part in the governing body’s work. Training and mentoring are available and will be tailored to what the individual requires.
