A Historic Celebration
Broadway First School, which is an Arts Building that has served the local community for over 100 years, has had some new additions. Children joined governors, Barrie Parmenter (Chair of Broadway Parish Council) and Emma Foster (Planning Director at Spitfire Bespoke Homes) to mark an exciting part of our school's history. Together we officially opened the new facilities designed to improve our school for current and future generations.
There have been many changes this year to make this possible. As well as opening our school to pre-school children through our governor led Laugh 'n' Learn Pre-School there have been lots of developments in terms of the physical building. Thanks in part to a monies from Spitfire Bespoke Homes' investment in our community, a lot has been achieved. This includes the creation of a new classroom, an extension to a KS2 class, a reception area being created to welcome parents, a small group room and a meeting/medical room.
It was an event that many have worked together on to make a reality. We would like to thank all involved for the exciting developments to our historic school.
